How do you schedule TikTok videos?

Short answer: The simplest way is TikTok's web uploader: go to tiktok.com on a desktop, upload your video, and toggle Schedule to pick a date and time, typically up to about ten days ahead. You can also draft in-app or use a Business account's tools. Scheduled posts publish automatically, so you don't have to be there.

Scheduling from the web uploader

  1. Open tiktok.com on a computer and log in, then click Upload.
  2. Add your video, caption, cover, and hashtags as usual.
  3. Toggle the Schedule switch and pick a date and time. The window is limited, commonly up to around ten days out, though TikTok can change it.
  4. Confirm. The post publishes on its own at the set time.

The web uploader is the official, free route. On mobile you can save unlimited drafts, but true auto-publish scheduling lives on the web tool or through third-party schedulers connected to a Business account.

Why scheduling helps

Scheduling separates making content from posting it, which is how consistent creators stay consistent without living inside the app all day.

  • Batch a week or a month of videos in one session, then queue them out.
  • Hit your best posting windows even when you're busy, working, or asleep.
  • Protect momentum, since a full queue means a slow week doesn't turn into a silent one.

Scheduling handles the posting, not the first hour after. Set a reminder to reply to early comments when each video goes live. That early engagement window still matters, and no scheduler will do it for you.
