Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ReelTok (“ReelTok,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), published by Viral App Labs LLC, handles information when you use the app. If you have any questions, contact us at support@getreeltok.com.

Your videos stay on your device

When you analyze a post, your photo or video is processed entirely on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device frameworks. The raw image and video never leave your device — only a short text summary is sent to generate your results. Anything you log about your own posts is stored only on your device.

Information we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum and never ask you to create an account. We may collect:

  • App and device data — a non-personal device identifier, app version, and in-app activity, used to keep the app working, understand usage, and sign you in anonymously.
  • Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription or trial, used to unlock features and prevent abuse.
  • Approximate location and attribution data — derived from your IP address and the marketing links you arrive through, used to measure where installs come from. We do not collect precise (GPS) location.
  • Content you send to the AI — the messages, prompts, and on-device text summary you submit for analysis or coaching, used only to generate your results. It is tied to an anonymous identifier, never your name or email.

What we don’t collect

  • No account, name, email, password, or phone number.
  • Your photos and videos never leave your device.
  • No facial recognition and no audio transcription or speech-to-text.

Service providers

We share the limited data above with a small number of trusted providers who process it on our behalf under their own privacy policies — including Apple (for App Store payments and on-device processing) and providers that help us with subscription management, analytics, and advertising measurement. We do not sell your personal information.

App Tracking Transparency

On iOS we show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Any data used for cross-app advertising measurement is collected only if you allow it. If you decline, we do not use your data to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Children

ReelTok is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then delete or anonymize it, unless a longer period is required by law. On-device data stays on your device.

Your choices

You can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing support@getreeltok.com. You can also manage tracking and reset your advertising identifier in your iOS Settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
