How do you turn one idea into many videos?

Short answer: You turn one idea into many videos by running it through different formats and angles: a how-to, a mistake to avoid, a myth-buster, a before/after, a Q&A, a list. Same core topic, different lens each time. One subject can easily become five to ten posts without ever feeling repetitive to viewers.

One topic, many angles

Repurposing isn't reposting the same video — it's attacking one subject from angles that each stand alone. Take a topic you know well and ask what a beginner gets wrong, what you wish you'd known, what the common myth is, what the fastest win is, what the before-and-after looks like. Each question is a different video that just happens to share a source.

A repeatable spin cycle

  • Format spin: how-to, mistake, myth, list, story, reaction, tutorial. Run the topic through each one.
  • Depth spin: one overview video, then a separate deep-dive on each point you skimmed past.
  • Audience spin: the version for total beginners, the version for people one step in, and the advanced take.
  • Opinion spin: the popular take, then your contrarian take on the same subject.
  • Media spin: talking-head, text-over-b-roll, photo carousel, green-screen reaction to a comment.

This is also how you feed a series and a content calendar without burning out. Batch-film several spins of one topic in a single sitting while you're already set up and lit, then schedule them out over days or weeks. The viewer sees variety; you only did the thinking once.

Honest limit: don't stretch a thin idea past what it can hold. If angle six feels forced, stop at five. Repurposing multiplies good ideas — it doesn't rescue weak ones, and a strained variation reads as filler.

Quick test: if each version would make sense to someone who never saw the others, it's genuine repurposing. If a video only makes sense as a near-duplicate of another, it's just reposting — and the algorithm can tell the difference.
