Why can nobody see my TikToks?
Short answer: Usually one of a few fixable things: your account or the video is set to private, the post is stuck under review, a guideline issue is suppressing distribution, or your videos simply aren't earning enough early retention to get pushed out. Check your privacy settings first, that's the most common and most overlooked cause.
Run through this checklist
- Is your account private? A private account only shows videos to approved followers, so nobody on the For You feed can see them. Settings and privacy, then Privacy, then Account.
- Is the individual video's audience limited? Check the post's privacy setting; Only me or Friends hides it from everyone else.
- Is the post stuck under review or removed? A video in moderation isn't distributed until it clears.
- Any Community Guidelines notice? Check Settings, then Account, then Account status for violations or restrictions.
- Are you brand new? A fresh account's first videos get a small test push, and low views aren't the same as no views.
If settings are fine and views are still zero
Once you've ruled out privacy and moderation, near-zero views usually come down to distribution, not visibility. TikTok shows a new post to a small test audience first; if early retention is weak, it stops widening the push. That reads as nobody can see it, but the real issue is that the video isn't earning its way past the first batch. Focus on the first second, tighten your edit, and check your retention graph to find where viewers drop.
Common misconception: zero views always means a shadowban. Far more often it's a private setting, a video still in review, or content that hasn't cleared its first test audience. Rule those out before assuming your account is penalized.
